EHC Kloten has hired a successor for Patrik Bärtschi. He goes by the name Larry Mitchell. Team manager for ERC Ingolstadt from 2017-2022, the 55-year-old brings some job experience with him.
A few years after retiring as active player in 2002, the German-Canadians started his coaching career, mainly in the DEL. During the 2013-14 season, he made his first steps as team manager.
"As a coach, he has always managed to find young talent, nurture it and develop it into passed players", Kloten's CEO Anjo Urner states. "He knows the whole ice hockey world, his credentials are excellent."
