In order to replace their injured goaltender, Reto Berra, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's team manager Christian Dubé asked the ZSC Lions about the possibility to borrow Ludovic Waeber, who suited up only in one championship game so far this season. The Lions, however, have dismissed the inquiry, therefore the Dragons will have to keep looking for a replacement for Reto Berra.

According to La Liberté, the team manager of the Lions, Sven Leuenberger, did not agree to the request of the Dragons.
