24-year-old Peltonen was able to convince the National League team's staff of his skill and has earned himself a contract.

Peltonen originally had a deal in place until the end of September but will now stay with EHC Kloten for the entire season. The 24-year-old, who is in possession of a Swiss players' license, last played for the University of Wisconsin, recording two goals and five assists in 36 games.

While the Finn will thus be a fixture in Kloten's roster, other defenders will not be a part of the team. Jorden Gähler has been loaned to EHC Visp for the entire season but will become a permanent fixture of the Swiss League team after that. He has signed a contract with them, valid from the end of the 2022-23 season until the end of the 2024-25 season.

Fabian Ganz will suit up for EHC Bülach, also on a loan basis. Jeffrey Füglister, too, will also not part of Kloten's roster. However, they have yet to find a solution for the 32-year-old forward, who only played a total of eleven games for Kloten last season.
