Last Friday, news got out that Harri Säteri has reportedly signed a contract with EHC Biel. The club has now confirmed this with the announcement of a one-year deal for the goaltender.

Säteri last played for the Arizona Coyotes in the NHL, from March until the end of the season. They had claimed him off waivers, as he initially intended to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs but had to go through said waivers to be able to do so. Before that, the 32-year-old was part of Sibir Novosibirsk from 2019 until early 2022.

The Finn is expected to arrive in Biel in early August.
