Saku Martikainen, who has signed a one-year contract with EHC Kloten, arrives from the Liiga, where he had been working as an assistant coach for Ässät since 2019. Additionally, last year, Martikainen was also part of the coaching staff of the U18 Finnish national team.
Jeff Tomlinson thus definitely remains as head coach and Kimmo Rintanen is also confirmed in his position as an assistant coach. For his part, Fabian Sutter will leave his role within the coaching staff.
