The Grenats have launched their subscription campaign for the upcoming season with some important transfer news.

As expected, Linus Omark has left Luleå HF to return to Geneva for the next two seasons. The 35-year-old Swede and the club have thus already agreed on an early extension of the contract that would have expired next spring.

Whereas defenseman Sami Vatanen has decided to stay with Genève-Servette HC for the next two seasons, his fellow countryman Valtteri Filppula has signed a one-year extension. Together with Henrik Tömmernes and Daniel Winnik, Geneva has now five import players under contract for the 2022-23 season.

In addition to the news regarding the import market, Genève-Servette HC also announced the signing of Keanu Derungs. The 20-year-old forward spent the last two seasons in North America, with the Victoria Royals of the WHL. Derungs has put his signature on a two-year deal.

Finally, the Grenats have decided to integrate into the main squad three youngsters from their own junior system: Thomas Moreno (19), the best scorer among U20-Elit defensemen in the past season, and forwards Kelian Fiebiger (17) and Antoine Guignard (18). They will practice with the team and be part of the extended roster.
