An integral part of the Biancoblù's late-season push for the Pre-Playoffs, the Finn will stick around for next season. Others are leaving.

With the one-year extension for Janne Juvonen, HC Ambrì-Piotta would have three netminders on their roster - the Finn, Benjamin Conz, and Damiano Ciaccio. Would have, because the latter and the club have mutually agreed to terminate their contract. Ciaccio has signed a one-year deal with HC Ajoie instead.

Ciaccio was part of Ambrì-Piotta for two seasons, splitting starts with Conz (whenever the latter was healthy). His new team's plan is that the Swiss-Italian shares the net with Tim Wolf.

Besides their changes in net, the Biancoblù also bid farewell to Joël Neuenschwander and Patrick Incir, who will not get a contract renewal. Cédric Hächler's departure, which was announced by the player four weeks ago, was confirmed by the club.

Michael Fora, Juuso Hietanen, and Giacomo Dal Pian were already announced by their new teams a week (Da Pian to EHC Olten) to five months (Fora to HC Davos) ago.
