To react to the ongoing negative period and the lack of any development, the SCL Tigers have decided to change their man on the bench.

Yves Sarault has signed a contract until the end of the current season and will already be on the bench on Monday for the away game in Rapperswil. "Yves has the passion and the profile to give our team the necessary push in the current situation," explains team manager Marc Eichmann.

Sarault was last employed by EHC Visp, which hired him last January as a replacement for Matti Alatalo until the end of the past season. In December, Blick reported that Sarault will be the new head coach of HC Sierre for the next season.

As for Jason O'Leary, his firing is the consequence of the lack of any progress and of the streak of seven consecutive losses the SCL Tigers currently find themselves in. In those seven games, the Tigers were able to score only ten goals while allowing 29. O'Leary thus stayed with the Tigers for less than a whole season.
