Elien Paupe will leave EHC Biel after this season. He has not yet signed with a new team. There reportedly is interest in the 26-year-old from some teams. One of those is HC Ajoie, as the Quotidien Jurassien writes. Team manager Vincent Léchenne confirms said interest.

Ajoie would be a return to his youth team for Paupe. He was a member of their junior department until he joined Biel in 2012 and would continue suiting up for them multiple times over the years, last in 2018.

This season so far, Paupe has played in four National League games, three of which he started. He has also made four starts for SC Langenthal in the Swiss League.

On another note, Ajoie is hoping to see a return of Viktor Östlund from Lausanne HC, now that Tobias Stephan has come back from injury.
