The Covid-19 wave in the National League continues. Several games have to be postponed.

Several players of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers have tested positive for Covid-19. The team will not be able to play against the ZSC Lions on January 2, as they are not able to deploy twelve players and one goalie for the game.

EV Zug's players have been placed in quarantine as six of their players have tested postivie as well. The games against HC Fribourg-Gottéron (January 2) and Lausanne HC (January 4) have been postponed.

The cantonal physician of Ticino also placed HC Lugano in quarantine until January 2. Just like in Zug, six players of the Bianconeri have tested positive for Covid-19. The game against HC Ajoie will also not take place.
