Following the foul of Lausanne HC's Mark Barberio on Garrett Roe, the ZSC Lions released a press statement calling for more respect.

"Actions with intentional and disrespectful actions against other players must be clearly punished. The health of the players is the highest good and must be protected accordingly. Players who do not respect basic values of respect and health should ask themselves serious questions" reads the statement of the ZSC Lions signed by their CEO, Peter Zahner.

The ZSC Lions especially complain that this foul was not the only dangerous one committed by Barberio against a Lion, but nevertheless, he did not seem to learn from his actions: "Apologizing after every incident but learning nothing from it is pointless and worthless" continues Zahner.

Garrett Roe will be sidelined for several weeks with a broken jaw due to the crosscheck of Mark Barberio.
