As reported by the Berner Zeitung earlier this week, the SCL Tigers have signed their best Swiss striker to an early extension. The 27-year-old has signed a two-year deal and thus stays in the Emmental. According to the newspaper, several other teams had shown interest in the forward.
Flavio Schmutz is currently in his second season with the SCL Tigers. In 22 games so far this season, he has recorded five goals and eight assists.
