Watson already reported yesterday that HC Davos and the SCL Tigers reached an agreement regarding the loan of Robert Mayer. The Tigers were in a hurry to find a new netminder, as Ivars Punnenovs, Gianluca Zaetta, and Damian Stettler are all injured.
Robert Mayer has a valid contract with HC Davos until the end of the 2023-24 season. The National League team has, however, made it clear that they are no longer counting on him. He thus has not suited up for a game this season yet.
