HC Davos' team manager Jan Alston is impressed by Yannick Frehner's career so far: "With his professional attitude, his high work ethic and his great fighting spirit, he has more than earned this contract extension. We are happy that Yannick is ready to be one of the core players to bring HCD back to the top in the near future. I see great potential for Yannick to develop into a complete National League forward in the next few years."
During his junior years, Frehner played in Chur, moving then to Davos when he was 15-year-old. Last year, he had a breakthrough season with Davos, setting career highs in goals (ten) and assists (eight) in 47 games.
