After the rumors of the past months, the confirmation has finally arrived: goaltender Viktor Östlund (one year, from Ambrì), defenseman Andrea Glauser (two years, from Langnau), and forwards Benjamin Baumgartner (four years, from Davos), Jason Fuchs (four years, from Biel) and Fabio Arnold (two years, from Winterthur) are all Lausanne-bound for the upcoming season.

Moreover, Svoboda also confirmed the extensions with Ronalds Kenins for five additional seasons and with Aurélien Marti for four more seasons. Also defenseman Kristian Suleski and the forwards Emilijus Krakauskas, Dominic Volejnicek, and Marco Cavalleri will remain in Lausanne, as they all have signed a new one-year deal.

Finally, Svoboda announced the departures of Benjamin Antonietti, Etienne Froidevaux, Libor Hudáček, Rihards Puide, Vladímir Roth, and Noah Schneeberger. The cases of Brian Gibbons, Charles Hudon, and Justin Krueger (all three at the end of their contracts) are still open.

For his part, Denis Malgin hopes to earn himself a new contract in the NHL for the next season. Soon, the 24-year-old will join his team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and will finish with them the current championship.

On a side note, the team manager also informs 24 heures that Mark Barberio will undergo surgery to fix a shoulder that has been bothering him since the autumn. He will then spend the summer in Switzerland, in order to focus on the recovery process.
