What has been anticipated for a while is now confirmed by HC Davos - Jan Alston will be joining them as team manager, succeeding the departed Raeto Raffeiner (left for SC Bern), on May 1.
Alston brings a lot of experience, he was Lausanne HC's team manager for almost nine years before being fired in February of 2020.
"Jan Alston already showed his great qualities on the ice during his active time. Now, in almost ten years with Lausanne, he has proven that he can also achieve long-term goals with sustainable development work. We are delighted that with Jan Alston we have been able to get a man with experience, a large network and a broad background in Swiss ice hockey for HC Davos", CEO Marc Gianola states.
