National League

According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), there are only a few more details to sort out. One of them: The duration of his new contract.

Mika Henauer will re-sign with SC Bern.

Mika Henauer will stay with SC Bern - but will he stay for three or four more years? This is one of the final questions that need to be resolved, apart from a couple of bonuses. In general, however, team manager Florence Schelling and the 20-year-old homegrown talent have agreed to terms, Zaugg writes.

A couple of days ago, Henauer told the Berner Zeitung that he would like to stay in Bern in spite of the interest from other clubs from the National League: "The top priority is to be at a club where I can play. If I get this chance with SCB, that would be ideal."

With four points (two goals) in ten games, Mika Henauer is currently SC Bern's second-best defenseman in terms of points. Only Eric Blum has been more productive this season (eight points in nine games).
