"It is a precautionary measure. The reasons are private", Craig MacTavish commented in regards to Cory Conacher's absence from Lausanne HC's practice to 24 heures. "No, he is not infected", the team's head coach added. It also would not have anything to do with being healthy-scratched in their last game against EV Zug. For tomorrow's matchup versus HC Ambrì-Piotta, the forward is unlikely to suit up.
Conacher, who signed with the Lions this summer, has made five appearances so far this season, recording one goal and two assists.
On a side note, his fellow forward Josh Jooris will still be sidelined for the game against the Biancoblù.
