The Dragons want to re-sign Sandro Schmid.

Apparently, not only HC Fribourg-Gottéron and forward Sandro Schmid have already started talking about an extension, but Christian Dubé seems convinced he can bring the negotiation to a successful conclusion: "Here, he's playing in one of the first two lines," states Dubé. "There's no reason for him to go elsewhere. I'm very confident about the outcome of the negotiations".
Asked about his expiring contract, Schmid, does not go into details: "I'm not concentrating on that, but on Gottéron's next matches. We'll see what happens...".
So far in two championship games, Schmid, 20, has scored two goals and collected an assist, while last season (his first in the National League) he recorded eleven points in 43 games.
