With only 28 seconds on the clock in the second period of the CHL-game against Tappara Tampere, Tappara's Veli-Matti Vittasmäki fell on Gregory Hofmann's left lower leg. As SRF and Watson both report, the 30-year-old had to be taken to the hospital for further examinations.
In addition to Hofmann, Zug might lose another player: Swedish defender Adam Almquist was hit by a puck and did not return to game action, Blick writes.
