Tristan Scherwey is optimistic that he is going to be ready, when the first puck of the 2022-23 season drops in fall: "It's a fracture, but I've heard positive things," he says to the Tages-Anzeiger. "They say it's a clean fracture, it could have been worse. I should be okay for the start of the season."
SC Bern would have allowed Scherwey to stay in Finland with the team, but he decided against it: "My heart is bleeding. I don't like leaving this team at all. But I know I'm doing it for a good reason. It's the right decision."
