It is not the first time this season that Stefan Ulmer is out due to a back injury. According to Arcinfo, the 30-year-old defender is suffering from back pain again and was, as a consequence, not able to suit up in Sunday's game against the Academy.
So far, Ulmer appeared in 13 of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' 16 games this season. With nine points (two goals) he has been their most productive defenseman.
