MEDICAL REPORT - According to a tweet by Tages Anzeiger journalist Silvan Schweizer, Kloten Flyers’ Matthias Bieber will not be at the disposal of head coach Sean Simpson for the Swiss national team. The forward has to miss the IIHF World Championship in Minsk due to injury.

KHL - HC Fribourg-Gottéron's late-season addition Niklas Hagman, who did not receive a new contract with the Dragons, has now signed with Finnish team Jokerit Helsinki. Jokerit is set to play their first season in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) next year.
