Surprise - Elvis Merzlikins extends contract with HC Lugano prematurely

As HC Lugano announces, they have agreed to terms with Elvis Merzlikins on a two-year contract. He had originally one year left on his deal with the Bianconeri and will now stay until the end of the 2018-19 season.

EHC Olten and assistant coach Dino Stecher have dissolved their contract by mutual agreement. Stecher will now return to EHC Biel as Kevin Schläpfer's assistant, where he has a one-year deal.
