Genève-Servette HC has to cope without their forwards Jim Slater (photo) and Noah Rod in tomorrow's Game 2 against HC Lugano. Both have been suspended for the game and proceedings have been initiated.

HC Fribourg-Gottéron and their Canadian defenseman Alexandre Picard have agreed on a one-year contract extension. The 30-year-old will thus stay in Fribourg through the 2016-17 season.

According to La Regione, HC Ambrì-Piotta's netminder Tim Wolf is about to leave the Leventina. It seems as if the 24-year-old will sign with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds in the National League B for the upcoming season.

In yesterday's Game 1 of the semifinal series against Genève-Servette HC, HC Lugano had to cope without Julien Vauclair as of the 17th minute.

For tonight's Semifinal opener at Les Vernets, Genève-Servette HC can count again on the services of forward Daniel Rubin. HC Lugano, on the other hand, will definitely have to make do without Fredrik Pettersson.
