Released by the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers on October 23, it seems that Robbie Earl will stay in Switzerland. According to the "Neue Luzerner Zeitung", EV Zug is courting the American forward, as they need an offensive enforcement.

HC Davos, who would like to sign Earl on a temporary basis as a replacement for their top scorer Marcus Paulsson, is not ready to offer Earl a contract for the rest of the season, which he asks for. With EV Zug this could be a different story.

But Zug has only two remaining import-licenses, and have to use them wisely. As it seems, they would take this risk and sign Earl if possible.
