According to 20 Minuten, Harold Kreis will in all likelyhood soon move to Switzerland. Either as new head coach of EV Zug or as new coach of the Swiss national team. Kreis has already considerable experience in the National League A. With both HC Lugano (2006) and the ZSC Lions (2008) he won the Swiss Championship title.

Most recently he coached the Adler Mannheim in the DEL. However, EV Zug has a new competitor since the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation has announced that Sean Simpson's contract as Swiss national coach won't be extended. Thus, Harold Kreis is not only an option as Doug Shedden's successor in Zug, but could also be an interesting candidate to take over the Swiss national team after the World Championship in Minsk.
