NHL/AHL - After the New Jersey Devils have assigned Damien Brunner to the AHL's Albany Devils today, the question remains: what's next, what's coming up for the 28-year-old, who never had to play a game in the AHL in his career?

According New Jersey Devils' general manager Lou Lamoriello, there would be no reason to think that Brunner won't report to the Albany Devils: "He will. He's not that type of individual."

At the same time, Lamoriello indicated that he is trying to move the Swiss right wing to find him somewhere else to play. "If we can work something out for him, we will," Lamoriello said. "There are several potential situations, let's put it that way."

Does that mean green light for Brunner's agent, Neil Sheehy, to talk to teams and work out a trade?

Anyways, Damien Brunner is set to stay within the organization of the New Jersey Devils for the moment, where he will scratch the ice with the Albany Devils, wearing jersey number 28.
