The 22-year-old defenseman went through Genève-Servette HC's system, before he went abroad to play junior in the Western Hockey League for two seasons.
He then returned to Geneva in 2012, where he played three games in the National League A, before he was loaned to HC Red Ice and eventually ended up signing a contract with them for this season.
Dave Sutter has scored 14 points in 45 games for HC Red Ice this season and will stay with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds until 2016.
