Malgin is currently in his third season for the Red Ice and played an important part in the promotion of HC Red Ice to the National League B back in 2012. His contract will last until the end of the 2014/15 season with an option for an additional year. He has scored 11 points in 40 games for his team this season.

Furthermore, HC Red Ice adds young forward Vladislav Zorin to their roster. The 20-year-old forward played in HC Lugano's junior team this season. He joins Red Ice to begin studies at the hotel school Vattel, partner of HC Red Ice. His development will be in the National League B next season and he is committed to two seasons in the Forum. He has scored four points in six games for HC Lugano's U20 team.

In other news, Kirill Starkov's qualification has still not been approved by the IIHF. The meeting had been originally scheduled for Wednesday, but the decision was postponed twice. HC Red Ice hopes that they will know the fate of the Dano-Russian for sure next week.
