Stefan Ulmer extends contract with HC Lugano until 2017

Stefan Ulmer is in his fourth season with HC Lugano and has emerged as one of the most important players of head coach Patrick Fisher's squad. With a +13, the Austrian with a Swiss license is ranked third among all NLA d-men, just behind ZSC's Bergeron and HCFG's Kwiatkowski.

The young defenseman, who has already scored six goals and nine assists in 36 games this season, will also be part of Austria's national team for the Olympic games in Sochi this February.
