The 23yr-old Weisskopf is already the second defender who signs with the Lakers on a temporary basis. Before him, the Swedish defender Daniel Fernholm was also signed until the IIHF-break in November as a replacement for Derrick Walser.

After the injuries of Cyrill Geyer (ligaments) and Andreas Camenzind (severe concussion) the Lakers take over SCB's Dan Weisskopf on loan until the IIHF-break in November.
