NLA - Because starting goalie Robert Mayer will be missing due to an injury, Genève-Servette HC has signed Kevin Huber. But because it is Huber's second transfer in this season, he now got suspended by the League for three games.

The 21-year-old goalie joined the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in mid-October with a one-month contract due to the injury of their goalie Ivars Punnenovs. Before that, Huber was without a club as HC Fribourg-Gottéron had not extended his contract at the end of last season.

The move from Rapperswil to Geneva is now considered to be his second transfer of the season, which leads to an automatic three-game suspension.

UPDATE As Genève-Servette HC announces on Twitter, Kevin Huber's suspension has been lifted. The goaltender will still not be in lineup tonight though. - 18 November 2014, 05:47 PM
