NLA - SC Bern has found another import-defenseman for the upcoming season. From Lev Praha in the Kontinental Hockey League, the 27-year-old Canadian Marc-André Gragnani joins the Bernese on a one-year contract.

Marc-André Gragnani came to Europe only last season when he joined the Czech KHL team of Lev Praha. Meanwhile, the club left the KHL due to financial difficulties and all their players are allowed to look for new employers. Gragnani, 27, has found his in SC Bern.

In 64 games in Prague last season, the native of Montréal has scored two goals and 13 points. In the course of his career, Gragnani also played 81 games in the NHL for Buffalo, Vancouver, and Carolina (four goals, 25 points), but spent most of his time in the AHL, where he scored 50 goals and 238 points in a total of 334 games.
