NLA - Only shortly after Genève-Servette HC announced contract extensions with Noah Rod (four years) and Elliott Antonietti (three years), also forward Cody Almond informs on Twitter that he will stay in Geneva for another five years.

"Proud to be part of the Genève-Servette organization for another 5 years," the 24-year-old Canadian, who is in posession of a Swiss license, expresses his happiness about the long-term deal on Twitter.

Almond, who was drafted by the Minnesota Wild in 2007, joined the Grenats two years ago and managed to score 71 points (26 goals and 45 assists) in 83 games so far.
