"We must have clarity by Saturday," ZSC's team manager Edgar Salis says in today's edition of the Aargauer Zeitung and, thus, openly presents his Championship-winning coach with an ultimatum.
Marc Crawford, 53, already had interviews with the Vancouver Canucks and the Florida Panthers. Another one is said to be scheduled with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the near future.
Both Pittsburgh and Vancouver are planning to interview several more candidates and most likely won't hire their new coaches by Saturday. Florida, on the other hand, has already announced that they want to present their new head coach by the end of the week.
Front-runner for the job in Florida appears to be the former Pittsburgh coach Dan Bylsma, 43, but also Marc Crawford is one of the three candidates in the final mix.
