NLA - Only shortly after HC Ambrì-Piotta has officialized the signing of the American forward Keith Aucoin, journalist Flavio Viglezio reveals that Travis Morin won't join the Leventinesi for the upcoming season.

Morin, who has had an outstanding season with the Texas Stars (84 points in 63 regular season games) so far and is currently playing in the Calder Cup Final, won't join HC Ambrì-Piotta next season. This is what Flavio Viglezio (Corriere del Ticino) writes on Twitter.

According to the same source, the 30-year-old American seems to be too expensive for Ambrì. Another problem is that he's still under contract with the Texas Stars for the upcoming season.

To complete their import-quartet with Maxim Noreau, Alexandre Giroux, and Keith Aucoin, Ambrì-Piotta is still looking for another import-center. One possibility could be the 27-year-old Canadian Ben Street whose contract with the Abbotsford Heat is running out.
