Since with Thomas Rüfenacht (SC Bern) and Dario Simion (HC Davos) two forwards leave the Bianconeri, they had to find an adequate replacement. From the Kloten Flyers, forward Janick Steinmann joins the Luganesi for the upcoming two years.
Although Steinmann's contract with the Flyers is still running until the end of the upcoming season, Kloten did not want to keep him from moving away. In 59 games for the Flyers, he only managed to score 15 points (six goals and nine assists) and thus could not live up to their expectations.
