The 30-year-old forward doesn't exclude the possibility that he will renew his contract with Lausanne HC, but he is also not shying away from other options: "I am thirty and I want to play a few more years. I'm open to everything, even to remain in Lausanne or another club in Switzerland. The KHL is tempting as well. But I will not constantly change and move because of my son Lennox, he has to be my priority. Even a return to Austria is a possibility."

Oliver Setzinger has scored 26 points in 38 games this season. He will be part of Austrian's National Team for the Olympics in Sochi.
