The Swiss team managed to beat the Hungarian team 0-2 and will now face Czechia in the quarterfinals of the U18 Women's World Championship.

It was a hard-fought game between the two countries which never had played against each other. The game remained scoreless until the beginning of the third period when Norina Müller recorded the first goal of the night.
It remained 1-0 Switzerland until Norina Müller scored an empty-net goal in the 60th minute, securing Switzerland the win and third place in Group A.
The quarterfinal against Czechia is scheduled for 18.30 CET, January 15.
