Switzerland will face Czechia in the quarterfinals

The Swiss team ended the preliminary stage of the Women's Worlds with a 5-0 loss to the USA. Goalie Andrea Braendli kept her team in the game, she faced 53 shots in the entire game. The Swiss were held to six shots on goal. 

Switzerland will play against Czechia in the knockout stage of the tournament. The Czechs won their first game against the Swiss 3-0, so it remains to be seen whether the Swiss team will find an answer to the Czech's game on Thursday. The game is scheduled for 17:00.
