Lara Stalder was Switzerland's sole player to score last night. It was her second goal of the tournament. Ast he Swiss did not manage to secure a win in the tournament's group stage, they will now face Finland in the quarterfinal.

When asked about their path forward, Sinja Leemann said this to IIHF.com: “We just have to look at our mistakes. We have to work on them. We have to find more and just go from the start. When you don't always get an early goal, it's pretty hard so focus on that, work as a team and go hard until the end. This will be the point to make the difference.”

Switzerland's quarterfinal game against Finland is scheduled for Thursday, April 11. Puck-drop is set for 16:00.
