This year's edition of the Women's Worlds will be hosted by Denmark in Esbjerg and Herning, from November 6 to November 16. Switzerland has been inserted in Group A alongside the USA, Austria, Germany, and Czechia. After the game against the USA on November 6, Switzerland will return to the ice on November 8 against Czechia, then they will face Austria on November 10, and finally Germany on November 11.

This year, a new format for the competition has been introduced, where the two groups are now balanced based on the World Ranking and the results of last year's tournament, similarly to the Men's Worlds. Until now, the five best teams were all playing in the same group and were automatically qualified for the quarterfinals.
