Head coach Melanie Häfliger has nominated three goaltenders, eight defenders, and 14 forwards. The selection was not easy, but the players have worked well, says Häfliger and adds: “We are convinced that we have a team that will impress with courage, determination, and pride and will represent Swiss women's ice hockey with the greatest commitment.”
The Swiss women are in Group B with Canada, Czechia, and Slovakia and will play their games as follows: Saturday, January 4 (16:00 CET) Czechia - Switzerland; Sunday, January 5, (19:30 CET) Canada - Switzerland; Tuesday, January 7, (09:00 CET) Switzerland - Slovakia. Group A features hosts Finland, the USA, Sweden, and Japan. The quarterfinals will start on January 9.
