Three new members for EV Zug

Continuing their roster work for the coming season, EV Zug has announced the signings of Lia Egger, Sarah Mettler, and Yara Keller. With these additions, the roster is mostly complete. "We will also be bringing in an import forward", head coach Daniela Diaz notes.

As for the new trio, Sarah Mettler is joining from EHC Winterthur's U15-juniors. Only 14 years young, the forward has already been playing in the SWHL B, C, and D since 2021. Lia Egger (21) is the most experienced of them, with 73 games in the PostFinance Women's League and 94 in the SWHL B. Goalkeeper Yara Keller, for her part, also has twelve top league appearances under her belt with the HC Ambrì-Piotta Girls. Last season, the 19-year-old was playing for HC Innerschwyz's U20, as well as second- and third-division men's hockey with EHC Urdorf and EHC Seewen.
