"The contract extension is an important sign of the joint commitment to further promote and sustainably strengthen the advancement and development of women's ice hockey in Switzerland", SIHF CEO Martin Baumann states. "This partnership will allow us to build on the successes of recent years and launch new initiatives to promote the players and further develop the league and young talent."

Baumann's counterpart at PostFinance, Beat Röthlisberger, shares the sentiment. "We are delighted to continue supporting the PostFinance Women's League as its main and naming partner. With our commitment, we are helping to create more professional conditions, increase the visibility of the league, and strengthen the promotion of young talent in a targeted manner."

Besides giving the league its name, PostFinance will also continue the "Top Scorer"-brand with the yellow helm and the flame jersey, akin to the men's leagues.
