Defenseman Nadine Hofstetter will hang up her skates after this season, as she revealed to the "Zuger Zeitung". The 31-year-old is drawing a line under her professional career, during which she played not only for EV Zug but also for SC Langenthal Women, SC Reinach Women, and the ZSC Lions Women. "My body is sending me signals that it’s time to call it quits," she says.
She won the Swiss championship with the ZSC women’s team in 2016 and 2017. She also won the SWHL B title in 2023 and the cup in 2024 with EVZ. From 2018 to 2023, she was also a member of the Swiss national team, competing in three World Championships and the 2022 Olympic Games during that time.
