EVZ laid the base for the victory in the first period thanks to two goals by Ivana Wey and one by Rahel Enzler. In the 28th minute, Wey then recorded the fourth goal of the night, which eventually became the game-winning goal.

Although SC Bern found its way back into the game, they only got within two goals (Maija Otamo, Ilana Leibundgut) of EV Zug before the latter extended their lead to 5-2, courtesy of Alina Marti. While SCB got one goal back in the 46th minute, EVZ kept a firm grip on the game and eventually won Game 3 6-3.

EV Zug thus succeeds SC Bern as the Women's League Champion. It's their second title this season, as they also won the National Cup.
