Five years later - Defender Erik Brännström to return to Switzerland?

Erik Brännström is a known name in Switzerland, as he suited up for ten games with the SCL Tigers during the 2020-21 season. According to info gathered by Expressen, Brännström wants to return to Europe but in the National League rather than in his home country, i.e.. Sweden.

After his short stint in the National League, Brännström returned to North America where he suited up for the Ottawa Senators and the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL and the Belleville Senators, the Abbotsford Canucks, Hartford Wolf Pack and the Rochester Americans in the AHL.
