Mikko Lehtonen made it, as the only non-NHL player, to the men's Olympic roster. The 31-year-old defenseman has been playing for the ZSC Lions for the past four seasons, but has been a permanent fixture on Finland's World Championship rosters and was also part of the last Olympic roster.
Julia Liikala, for her part, is in her second season with HC Ambrì-Piotta (five goals, 17 assists in 21 games). The 24-year-old forward won bronze twice with the Finnish national team and has also been part of the last Olympic roster.
